Handle With Care Training Ltd was started in 1994 by Philip and Janet Norcliffe, as a small firm absolutely committed to the delivery of the highest quality Health Care Training and Education. Philip was then a Senior Lecturer in Nursing Studies at the University of Sheffield, with special responsibility for Moving and Handling training. He has since retired from the university and now works full-time for Handle With Care Training Ltd.

We have a sound track record with over 15 years experience and several thousand trainees.

We have developed along with our loyal customer base courses from single day, bespoke courses in all aspects of health care delivery including risk assessment, challenging behaviour,venepuncture, catheterisation, feeding difficulties, hygiene / the prevention of cross infection and first aid.

If a customer identifies a training requirement that we cannot personally deliver we endeavour to match them up with someone we know can deliver to our satisfaction. Handle with Care is a training company working specifically within the health care sector.

All our extensive experience is in the field of care and teaching. Training is tailored to the needs of our customers, their staff and client group.

Our two main aims for all our training is:
First and foremost the content must be relevant for what people need; we work hard to use the experience of course members to assist them in making use and sense of what we are doing. This we know helps them to incorporate new material within their own expertise, maintaining their confidence.
Secondly is to closely monitor the effectiveness of all our training sessions, to ensure that customers are satisfied with the value they get for their money and their return on investment.
